Mariam Noujaim earned the nickname “the mighty” by taking on injustice. Born in Egypt, she began her career marketing tourist travel packages. She came to the United States in the 1970s where she worked as a travel agent before joining California state government. Noujaim built a thirty-year real estate career and several other entrepreneurial businesses.
